Metronome and Tuner
We encourage our students to purchase their own metronome/tuner for their practice at home. Being able to play in tune and play rhythms in time (at a steady tempo) is essential as a musician. The metronome/tuner we recommend is the KORG TM-50, which you can purchase at Marshall Music or on Amazon.
There are free online metronomes that students can use if they do not have their own metronome. Metronome Online requires you to register for a free online account if you want access to the advanced features. Best Metronome does not require an online account. There is also a free online tuner (although nothing beats the accuracy of an actual tuner) at Leshy Labs.
Please click here if you would like to use either an embedded version of a metronome and/or tuner.
